Launched in 2016, The Wairarapa Journal was created to reflect and celebrate the region, its landscapes and its people in a way that felt honest, considered and distinctly local.

The magazine’s visual identity, editorial design and overall feel were shaped from concept through to print, building a publication that grew into the Wairarapa’s premium quarterly title — widely read, beautifully produced and distributed throughout the lower North Island.
