The Story Studio
The Story Studio was founded by Jane Ross, a Wairarapa-based film writer, curator and advocate. Through Film Talks, the Wairarapa Film Festival and Cinémathèque, Jane has spent nearly a decade building film culture in the region, connecting audiences with filmmakers and with cinema as a living, communal art form. Cinémathèque is a festival that celebrates film as artistic and cultural heritage, bringing local cinephiles together through curated programmes of restored classics, silent films and works of lasting significance.
The two identities are designed to work together, sharing a visual language while each holding its own character. From there, each individual film poster finds its own voice, shaped by the story it carries.
